Environmental Scientist/Hydrogeologist
Geologist - Environmental Job Description:
Aerotek E&E has exceptional career opportunity for an Environmental Scientist/Geologist. The successful candidate will participate in environmental, water resources, geotechnical, and planning projects that involve field studies, technical analysis, modeling and report preparation. Field investigations may involve drilling and soil classification, environmental sampling, aquifer testing, and field mapping/inventory. Analysis and reporting may involve spreadsheet preparation, graphical analysis, or application of commercial modeling codes. Written skills require concise and accurate description of conditions, analyses, and conclusions.
The successful candidate will work with senior staff to assist clients in the water resources, energy, manufacturing, and mining industries. We are looking for a motivated problem solver with the ability to interact with peers and develop efficient solutions to complex project challenges. Travel (within the US and internationally) may be required depending on project needs.
For this role, we are looking for someone with:
- BS in Environmental Science or Geology.
- MS is a plus.
- Relevant work experience.
- Comfortable with field work.
- Willing to travel periodically.
- Report writing
