Geologists
Aerotek is seeking a Geologists with 0-1 year of experience for our growing Oil & Gas client in Houston, TX. This is a Direct Hire opportunity & our client is looking to screen & hire candidates immediately.
Our client is seeking a responsible self-motivator who can image core and rock samples on a Micro CT machine and SEM microscopes. A candidate with some experience using medical imaging equipment and/or microscopy equipment will be a plus, but is not required. This candidate will be working on a rotating shift depending on the week and must be flexible to work in the morning, evening and night. During these hours the candidate will be preparing samples for imaging, loading samples into the various machines, and imaging each sample (approximately 30 min. per sample).
Benefits and Compensation are competitive and there is definite room for incentives and growth within the company.
Rotating schedules; an average of 44 hours a week; Candidates will work 1 week on Days, 1 week on Evenings and 1 week on nights, rotation will continue and could vary depending on needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Geology
- 0-1 years of experience
- Internship experience is a plus but not required
- Must Be flexible with work hours & work schedule
