Environmental Engineer
Our client is an engineering company known in Calgary as a market leader in providing engineering services, integrated project management, as well as procurement and construction management (EPCM). They specialize in providing multi discipline engineering design for the hydrocarbon processing industry; maintaining a number of oil and gas clients.
There is an immediate need for a SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST. The qualified candidate's duties include:
-Project management of site remediation which would entail review of 3rd party soil and groundwater consultants, liaising with clients, contractors, landowners and regulators, review of remedial action plans, and site visits.
-Computer software modeling using terrain modeling (ICS3 and Screen3)
-Completion of AEB applications
-Emission Estimation and reporting
To be qualified for this position, the successful candidate must have the following:
-8-12 years of relevant work experience
-A degree/diploma in Environmental Science would be considered an asset.
-Air quality experience, which includes screening level dispersion modeling, emission estimation, GHG management, and reporting to the National Pollutant Release Inventory.
